How many sessions do I need?
The number of sessions varies from person to person, depending on factors such as hair type and growth patterns. Most clients achieve 80-90% hair reduction after 8 to 15 sessions, with appointments scheduled every 4 to 8 weeks, gradually staggering the time between each session based on your hair growth.
Is laser hair removal permanent?
Laser hair removal offers long-term hair reduction. While many experience significant and lasting results, maintenance sessions - usually 1 to 3 times annually may be recommended to address any new hair growth.
How does laser hair removal work?
The process involves emitting laser light pulses that target the melanin in hair follicles. The pigment absorbs the light, damaging the follicle and inhibiting future hair growth.
How long does each session take?
Session durations vary based on the treatment area. Appointments can range from as brief as 5 minutes for smaller areas to up to 90 minutes for larger regions.
How do I prepare for a session?
Please shave the areas to be treated before your appointment. Refrain from applying lotions, oils, moisturizers, or deodorants on the day of treatment. Additionally, it's advisable to schedule sessions at least two weeks before or after sun exposure or tanning to ensure optimal results. Detailed preparation guidelines will be provided in your appointment confirmation email.
